Opening Ceremony of the OFF Festival 2019. Presentation of the programme by Mischa Damev, director of the Septembre Musical Festival Montreux-Vevey. Performance tradition, conducted by the students of the Matriochka Romandie School, on the occasion of the September 1st celebration, which marks the start of the school year for all children in Russia.

Traditional Family Game Dad, Mom and I, hosted by Sergey Fedyanin, master of ceremony from Moscow. This popular game has its own TV show in Russia. Demonstration with the possibility for the public to participate and win a prize.

Flash Mob ‘Russian Ball’ by Ekaterina Grafodatskaya and Dmitriy Platov, founders of the legendary Officers’ Ball of Sevastopol. Immersion in the atmosphere of the Russian classical ball, possibility to participate (novices welcome).

A craft workshop for all ages which will give you the opportunity to leave with a Russian doll coloured by your own hands.
Culinary tastings A small market, with a few little houses, offers culinary tastings of Russian dishes, drinks and handicrafts.

Popular chants (classical, folk) by the vocal ensemble The Funny Girls from Basel, winner of the international festival Voices 2019. Composed of 14 young singers aged from 3 to 20.

5:30 p.m.
Theater by Creschendo Theatre, Geneva, This drama school teaches children the basics of acting in line with the Russian tradition. Excerpts from the various plays in the theatre will be presented.

6 p.m.
Games of interaction with the public give everyone the opportunity to participate and win prizes. They will be moderated by Sergey Fedyanin, master of ceremony, Moscow.
