Alexandra Dovgan, piano
Alexandra Dovgan: a name to remember, since it's likely to become famous in the musical world! It is carried by a young girl who is already a queen of the piano although she’s barely twelve years old. In 2018, this precocious musician dazzled the jury of the Great Moscow Piano Competition by performing Mendelssohn's First Concerto, only six years after starting to play the piano! With the first prize in her pocket - along with many other distinctions - the young pianist has set out to conquer the international stage while continuing to study at the Central School of the Moscow Conservatory with the support of the New Names, Vladimir Spivakov and Mstislav Rostropovich foundations. She will be coming to the Riviera with Beethoven's 10th Sonata and a delightful array of Chopin works. What more could one wish for to be charmed by a rising star?
